Improvising on the sackbut is one thing - but taking all the 17th-century tricks into the 21st-century really makes you think! This is another part of the VSPRS show - large sections of improvisation in this re-working of Ave Maris Stella from Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers. I'm improvising here with Fabrizio Cassol (saxophone) and Tcha Limburger (violin) and the rest of the band - from whom I learnt so much during this time. | ||||||
