Something Festive! Over the last few years, together with trumpet player and arranger extrodinaire Edward Maxwell, I have been working on a fresh new set of Christmas carol arrangements for brass and voices. While nearly all of the carols are arranged for SATB choir with brass quintet, and intended for concert performance, most work well as congregational carols too. Some have optional soprano solo parts and a couple are intented for childrens' choir, scored for SSA. All of these carols have piano accompaniments for rehearsal purpose and there are also purely instrumental versions of these arrangements available. We are currently looking for a publisher for this work and in the mean time are publishing it ourselves. If you would be interested in performing this music, please don't hesitate to contact me and I can send sample pdf scores Clicking on the titles below will play an mp3 sound file of each piece. These have been created with music notation software, so unfortunately you won't hear the words or that thrilling live brass sound - but hopefully this will inspire you to give them a try in a real-life performance! | ||
